Mechanical Design & 3D Modeling

Designing in a virtual 3D world is simply enjoyable. Our experience dates back to a time when 2H pencils, coated linen, and Vemco machine were high tech. The best advantage using todays CAD systems is the ability to quickly modify the features of the details to refine the overall project. You have 20/20 vision hind sight of a design and that usually highlights areas that can be improved or simplified and yet again until its satisfied. Great designs undergo a series of development stages that result in an excellent product for our customers.

Manufacturing Drawings & Documentation

The design process is a creative outlet we all enjoy, but the detail manufacturing drawings and accompanied documentation is where the real work of the project lives. Attention to selecting the right materials, treatments, and part feature tolerances is the real path to a successful build launch. We have the self discipline required to ensure all the released documents are accurate in all content.

FEA & Simulation

It starts with a free body diagram to capture a snap shot of the maximum forces acting on the structure. After that we discover the best simulation methods to use and set up the files. Large problems with many features in large structures will be broken into fragmented simulations for efficiency. We have tangible knowledge in the field to compare the results with, and hand calculations on MathCAD software to keep things in check. The trials are run until we are satisfied with the results. The best tools and methods are applied and we guarantee the information to be within industry standards.
